The output view is the deliverable. Printing it is not an afterthought, it is a real layout.
Print or save
Open Spec sheet from the project sidebar and choose Print. Your browser's print dialog opens with the document already laid out for paper, and Save as PDF in that dialog gives you a file.
The layout is letter size with a little over half an inch of margin. Section blocks and item rows do not break across pages, headings never orphan at the bottom of a page, and column headers repeat at the top of each page. The brand bar and the status badges print in colour.
App chrome, the sidebar, buttons, and navigation are not on the page.
Export a stored PDF
For a file you want to keep or attach rather than one you generate in the print dialog, use PDF export. That produces a real PDF file, rendered from the same layout, with proper page numbering.
On plans that include it, Send to client emails that PDF to the client on the project.
Watermarks
Free and Starter exports carry a watermark. Pro and Unlimited exports do not. See pricing.
Which artifact to send
The share link when you want them to see the current numbers and be able to comment or approve.
A PDF when you want a fixed artifact: something to attach to an email, file with a lender, or hand across a table.
The selections packet when the visual boards matter as much as the schedule.
The home manual at closeout, for the homeowner rather than the client relationship.
A tier prints as one tier
If the project has tiers, exports produce one tier at a time. Pick which one before you export. A printed document that silently contains three prices is a document that gets misread.
What never prints
Cost, markup, and projected profit are not on any client facing document, print route included.
