The browser clipper

Install and use the clipper

Two clicks from the product page

You are on a product page in Chrome. Click the clipper in the toolbar and a panel opens on that page with the product filled in: the name, manufacturer, model, finish, size, the photos, and the link back to the page.

Change anything that is off, then press Save to library. The panel closes and the product is in your library, ready to place on a spec sheet.

Filed where you would look for it

The clipper suggests a folder for the product, using one of your own folders where one fits. Keep it, pick another, or make a new folder from the panel.

If the product is already in your library, the panel says so before you save a second copy.

Works where a pasted link does not

A pasted link sends our server to fetch the page, and some stores turn it away. The clipper reads the page your browser already loaded, so it works on those stores too.

If a page gives up no photo, the clipper fetches it from our server instead, and that clip counts as a Smart Import. Every clip reads the page with AI, so it draws on your monthly AI allowance like any other import.

Photos you choose

Pick up to five photos from the page and choose the cover. If the one you want is not offered, click an image on the page, or drag a box around it to capture it.

Chrome on your desktop

The clipper is a Chrome extension for a desktop or laptop, made for the research end of the job: the store in one tab, your library a click away.

Install it from the Clipper page in the app after you sign up. That page walks you through it. What you clip counts toward your library's size.
