A spec sheet is a schedule. A board is what the room looks like. Clients decide on the second one and then sign the first.
Create a board
Open Boards from the project sidebar, or create one from a section's kebab menu in the spec editor, which is the fast path when you are already in Primary Bath.
Boards are usually per room. Give the board the room's name.
Add items
The add-items surface puts your product library on the left and the board on the right, so you drag what you want across. You can also add a product that is not in your library, and the app offers to save it while you are there.
Items on a board carry their image, which is why getting a real image at import time matters so much.
Arrange it
Board cards work as an accordion with one open at a time, so a project with eight rooms is still readable. Inside a board you can set the image density across three steps and change the sort.
Hover an item tile for the delete affordance in the corner of the image, or the pencil, which opens the product edit modal without leaving the board.
Give it a palette
Each board carries a color palette. Set the colors that belong to that room and they render with the board, on the client's view, and on the printed tear sheet. This is design intent, so the homeowner should see it.
Compare
Compare puts boards side by side. This is a builder view for checking that the primary bath and the hall bath do not fight, and it stays internal.
What the client sees
Boards appear on the share link. The client can look through them and react to the items they love, and those reactions show up in your activity feed.
That is a signal, not a decision. A loved pendant is a conversation starter; a formal approval or a signed change order is what commits it.
Printing them
A board prints as a tear sheet: the plate with lettered callouts on the tiles keyed to a notes legend below, feature tiles rendered large and standard tiles small, with an optional cover image for the overall vision.
Several boards plus a cover and the spec sheet assemble into one branded selections packet.
