The reference for this is the packet a designer builds by hand: a branded cover, per-room boards with lettered swatches keyed to notes, then the schedules. That takes hours to assemble and dies the moment a selection changes. This builds it in one click from data that is already live.
The tear sheet
A tear sheet is one board printed as a plate.
Tiles carry lettered callouts, A, B, C, keyed to a NOTES legend block underneath. The letters are what let somebody talk about the board on a phone call: "the B pendant" is a sentence, "the third one from the left" is not.
Tiles come in two roles. Feature tiles render large; standard tiles render small. Set the role per tile so the hero of the room reads as the hero.
Each board can carry a cover image, one non-spec inspiration photo for the overall vision, and its color palette prints with it.
Assembling the packet
The packet entry is a button on the Boards page toolbar, with a path back to Boards.
Choose which boards to include and generate. You get one document: cover page, then a plate per included board, then the client facing spec sheet.
It is branded with your company name and logo throughout.
What is in it, and what is not
The packet composes surfaces that are already client safe. The boards are the boards the client can already see, and the spec sheet section is the client facing spec sheet, so allowances and totals appear exactly as they do on the share link.
Cost, markup, and profit are not in the packet. A composed document is only as safe as its ingredients, so the packet inherits the same fence rather than assembling a new one.
When to send it
A packet is a fixed artifact, so it is right for a selections meeting, a lender, or a client who wants something to sit with. When you want them to see live numbers and be able to comment, send the share link instead.
