Three doors, one room. Whichever you use, you end up in the same review preview with the same fields filled and a suggested folder, and nothing is saved until you confirm it.
At a desk with a link: paste the URL
Open Products, choose Add, and paste the product link. Paste up to ten links at once, one per line, and you get a row per product in the preview.
This is the right door when somebody emailed you a spec, or when you are working from a supplier's site in another tab.
While browsing: clip the page
Install the browser clipper once, then click it on any product page. It sends the page you are already looking at to your library.
This is the right door when you are shopping. It is also the most reliable one on retailers that fight automated fetching, because your own browser already loaded the page: you were logged in, the scripts ran, and nothing was blocked.
On site with the box in your hand: photograph it
On a phone, choose Add and take a photo of the product box, the spec label, or the showroom tag. The image is read for name, brand, model, finish, and size, and the photo itself becomes the product image.
This is the right door in a supply house or at the jobsite, where there is no URL to paste.
What happens in the preview
Every route lands in the same place: a row per product with the fields filled in, an image, and a suggested folder such as Kitchen then Faucets.
Check three things before saving. The image, because it is the field that is hardest to recover later. The model or SKU, because it is what a supplier will actually order against. The finish, because it is the field that generates the most change orders when it is wrong.
Fix anything that is off, change the folder if the suggestion missed, and save.
What it costs you
Link imports and photo imports are metered on a monthly smart import allowance that goes up with your plan. Clipping a page you already loaded is normally free, and only draws on the allowance when the page comes back too thin to read and has to be fetched properly.
