Takeoff lengths now snap to the nearest sixteenth of an inch as you draw, and the length shows on the line while you place it. Open Settings from the gear in the header to pick a coarser or finer snap, or to set the scale for the whole plan. Find Scale uses separate feet and inches fields, and rotate lives next to zoom.

A wall run is now an object you come back to, not a line you have to redraw. Select it and press L to continue from either end, snap and join finished runs, or split and detach a part, and every opening stays over the printed symbol. The palette sets thickness and which face you traced without changing the linear result, and Delete on one count marker removes only that instance.

The printed notes on your drawings can now be read into the project, each block recorded with the sheet it came from. General notes, structural notes, schedules and legends. A sheet whose PDF still carries its text is read for free with no AI at all; a scanned sheet is read by AI and shows the estimate first. Search the whole set in seconds, or turn on the Plans switch and ask the chat what the drawings say, and every answer carries a chip naming the sheet behind it that opens the Notes page at that block. Check against plan notes reads a section of your spec sheet against what the plan requires and reports what is missing and what disagrees, quoting the note each time. Nothing it finds changes your sheet until you add a line yourself.

AI can now read a plan page for you: the sheet number, the title, the discipline and the room labels it finds. Room proposals come three ways, cheapest first: printed labels, a click to detect, or AI over a grid. Every proposal is dashed and unconfirmed until you review it in the Proposals tab and confirm or discard it, so nothing feeds a total, a CSV or a PDF until you say so. Symbol search finds repeated fixtures the same way, with direct and possible matches you check before you create a count.

A door, window or cased opening is now recorded on a length or a room, never cut out of the shape you drew, so you read gross, openings and net at a glance. Three net bases, wall area less openings, perimeter less door openings, and casing, feed new Drywall, Baseboard and shoe, Crown, and Casing presets without touching a number you already applied. Plot all rooms and plot all walls in one action, review every result on one batch screen, and confirm them together. The measurements drawer is now the layer panel too: click a group to see only it, hide what should not count, and give any row its own colour.

Open a plan page with a confirmed scale and draw on it: rectangles, polygons, lengths, deducts and counts, each in a colored group. The Measurements drawer totals by group, the cube adds a height, depth, pitch or multiplier, and undo works across saves. A page that is not scaled yet says unscaled instead of guessing.

An area on a plan becomes a room with one click, and a group can feed a spec item through the Apply you already use. The Takeoff Summary reviews every group and exports as CSV; a plan exports as a marked-up PDF with your notes on it. The plan never writes a quantity on its own.

The chat panel can now ground itself in what AI read on the plans: sheet numbers, titles, disciplines, printed scales, and room labels with printed dimensions. Turn on the Plans switch in the chat header and ask what is in a sheet, and every answer says it came from the drawings, never a confirmed quantity. Draft from plans, next to What am I missing, runs one prompt per trade over that same text and your confirmed rooms and drops a product-less draft into the chat for you to review. Nothing reaches the spec sheet until you choose Apply.

Every project now has a Takeoff tab where you upload the plan set and every sheet renders in the browser. Search the sheets that carry a text layer, pin the ones you keep coming back to, and set each page's scale from a preset or by drawing one known length. Nothing on a plan is ever visible to a client.

Settings now has a Usage tab that shows the percent of this period's AI allowance you have used, with the token counts underneath. The same bar is on the AI tab, and both screens use the same two numbers, so they cannot disagree. After you have used a feature five times, Usage also shows about how much of the allowance one call typically takes.

A 7-day trial now includes about 60 AI actions: enough to try the product, not to fund a full evaluation. When that allowance is used, everything else in the trial still works, and you can start your plan immediately if you want the full allowance today. The charge is the plan you already picked, shown before you confirm.

Every AI feature on your plan now shares one monthly allowance instead of three separate counters. It measures how much work the model actually does, so a quick question costs less than a long one and light months go further. Settings, then AI, shows what you have used and roughly how many actions are left. If the allowance runs out, AI pauses and everything else keeps working.

A new project no longer arrives with twelve canned sections. Add Kitchen, Bath, or a custom name from the picker, then fill the lines. Saved templates and AI quick-template still start you with a full scaffold when you want one.

You now get told before and after a subscription ends, not only before. A banner shows the date while the plan you paid for is still running, and a second one appears once it has ended so you know exactly when your account becomes read-only. Deleting your account also cancels your subscription now, instead of leaving it billing with no way to reach it.
